Twiggy meets Climate Rush

Wanna be in our gang? Can you cycle 60 miles in one day?

On Saturday 16th April a cycle convoy will be heading off from London. Our Pedal Posse will celebrate how great the bicycle is as an environmentally friendly means of transport, whilst highlighting the need for fairer rail fares. Meet at Greenwich Foot tunnel south side at 8am ready to cycle 60 miles along National Cycle Route 1. On the same day hundreds of intrepid travelers will be setting off on the train journey of their lives. They will have a ceilidh band, jam sandwiches and flannel petticoats. All we’ll have is the open road and the wind in our ears.

We’ll be cycling from London with the aim of meeting and waving in our intrepid train traveling sisters and brothers in a lovely historic town (and then having a leisurely train journey back to London). We’ll provide our own jam sandwiches (and sports drinks! and Lycra!) but it will be totally worth it. Join the Climate Rush cycling day trip – it will be a beautiful adventure!
